In a minimum use contract, although the contract is demand sensitive, there are a minimum number of hours contracted for during the contract period. You pay for them as used until the final bill on the contract. If, at that time you have not used them all you pay for them anyway. You can always buy more than the minimum at a prespecified discount rate if needed. This eliminates a lot of budget work for RDA and we can pass that saving on.

The retainer contract is like the minimum use contract except that you pay a fixed amount each month as if the time were all used evenly. When you reach the number of hours covered under the retainer additional hours can be purchased at the specified rate and those extra hours are added to the monthly retainer amount in months when they are used. This eliminates both budget and cash flow issues for RDA and we pass those savings on.

All contract rates are on a plus expenses basis. Expenses are generally billed in the month they are incurred for all contract types. Contracts in excess of 1,000 hours are negotiated separately.
