Licensing and Packaging Info for Security Guard
The full version with the LAN management console, for Paradox 8, 9 and 10, comes with the password interface for the same version of Paradox and the libraries, forms and HTML needed to run it for the Internet. The full version for Paradox 7 does not include the Internet components since Paradox 7 can not run a web site. The Internet version also includes a small demo application to demonstrate how to add your own internet applications to Security Guard when you run them on the Internet. The LAN console is currently available in versions for Paradox 7-32, 8, 9 and 10. Password interfaces are available for versions 5, 7-16, 7-32, 8, 9 and 10.

RDA believes in clear and simple licensing. For LAN use Security Guard requires the management console and at least one password interface. Each license for the LAN management console allows the developer to use the Console and password interface at their development site and one production site if that is different from the development site. Security Guard for the Internet can also be used on the same sites. It is not an extra license. If Security Guard for the Internet is purchased without the full LAN version it is still considered a single license and can be used only on the developer's site and one production site. A site is defined as all users having access to a server where the security database is installed (LAN, WAN or stand alone PC). There are no user limits at a site as long as the users all access the same server for use of Security Guard regardless of the version installed. Additional licenses must be purchased for additional sites. For example, if you build an application which includes security guard and install it at 2 different clients, 2 licenses are needed regardless of the user count. On the other hand, if you build 2 applications which include Security Guard and install them both at the same site, only 1 license is required. Systems requiring additional password interfaces (for different versions of Paradox running at the same site where a console is installed) must purchase one license per site for each additional version of the password interface. Licensing and Packaging Info for RDA's AutoReplicator
RDA's AutoReplicator requires the components including the autorep.fdl, rdalib.ldl, lastchng.db, lastupdt.db, updtlist.dp and updtlist.px files. The product is available for Paradox versions 7-32. 8, 9 and 10.

Each license for RDA's AutoReplicator allows the developer to use the AutoReplicator at their development site and one production site if that is different from the development site. A site is defined as all users having access to a server where the AutoReplicator is installed and the master program being replicated is housed (LAN, WAN or stand alone PC). There are no user limits at a site and RDA's AutoReplicator may be used for all applications housed on that server.Additional licenses must be purchased for additional sites. For example, if you build an application which includes RDA's AutoReplicator and install it at 2 different clients, 2 licenses are needed regardless of the user count. On the other hand, if you build 2 applications which include RDA's AutoReplicator and install them both at the same site, only 1 license is required. RDA's BubbleHelp requires the components including the bublhelp.fdl, bublpart.fsl, rdabubbl.ldl, helpmsg.db, helpmsg.mb, and helpmsg.px files. The product is available for Paradox versions 7-32, 8, 9, 10 and Linux.

RDA's AutoKey requires the components including the autokey.fdl, autokey.ldl,, aliasdlg.fdl, IDtabID.db, IDtabID.val, IDtabID.px, IDtable.db, IDtable.val, IDtable.px and undo.bmp files. The product is available for Paradox versions 7-32, 8, 9, 10 and Linux.

A copy of the AutoKey Demo Application allows the licensee to use the AutoKey Demo Application at any one site at a time. It should be treated like a book, for the most part. If you install it on a server it is permissible for all users on that server to access the application. Installations on individual machines should be done only so as the copies will not be run simultaneously. For example, you can install and use the application on your office and home machine as you will not be in both places simultaneously. You can not, however, freely distribute this to your clients or friends in such a way that it can be used simultaneously on a single license. Remember that in installing and using this application you must also meet the AutoKey licence agreement. See the AutoKey documentation for that information. On the other hand, if you build 2 applications which include RDA's AutoKey library and install them both at the same site, only your full license is required.
